Silver Sneakers with Kathy is a fun, energizing fitness class designed specifically for older adults looking to improve their strength, flexibility, and overall mobility. Set to music, the class incorporates a variety of exercises that enhance muscular strength, improve range of motion, and help participants maintain or regain their independence in daily activities. In this class, you'll use hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a Silver Sneakers ball to target various muscle groups. A chair is available for support, making it ideal for those who need additional balance assistance. Whether you're standing or sitting, the exercises are adaptable to accommodate all fitness levels. Silver Sneakers with Kathy is ideal for older adults of all fitness levels, including those who are new to exercise or are recovering from an injury or illness.
