Y KIDS & Company Preschool

The Fort Madison Family YMCA’s Y Kids & Company Preschool is proud to continue our partnership with the Fort Madison Community School District to offer free, high-quality preschool for 4-year-olds. Enrollment is now open for the 2026–2027 school year, and space is limited. Early registration is strongly encouraged!
Our Mission:
We are committed to nurturing the whole child by supporting social, emotional, cognitive, fine motor, and language development. Our goal is to prepare every child for a confident, successful transition into kindergarten in a safe, supportive, and engaging environment.
Program Highlights:
- Learning Through Play: Hands-on activities, swimming lessons, gym time, and educational field trips make learning fun and meaningful.
- Experienced, Caring Staff: Dedicated educators focused on each child’s growth and well-being.
- School-Year Schedule: Monday–Thursday, following the Fort Madison Community School District calendar.
Class Options:
- Morning Class: 8:45am-11:15am
- Afternoon Class: 12:45pm-3:15pm
Eligibility Requirements:
- Child must be 4 years old by September 15, 2026
- Must be an Iowa resident
Cost:
No tuition – this program is offered at no cost to families.
