Shawna joined the Fort Madison Family YMCA as Director of Marketing and Digital Media in January 2019, bringing with her a strong background in local and regional marketing and multimedia design.

With extensive experience in both traditional and modern marketing strategies, Shawna is passionate about promoting the Y’s mission and expanding its presence throughout the community. She works to elevate the Y’s image across all media platforms, educate the community on the full scope of programs and services offered, and develop innovative ways to engage members and supporters.

Shawna has worked closely with the Fort Madison Family YMCA since 2010 as the advertising representative for the local newspaper. She is honored to now serve the Y in this role and looks forward to continuing to strengthen the Y’s impact within the community and beyond.

Outside of work, Shawna enjoys kayaking, camping, playing pickleball, and spending quality time with her family.
