Morning Class

8:45am – 11:15am

Afternoon Class

12:45pm – 3:15pm

No Tuition — This program is offered at no cost to families.

Eligibility Requirements
Child must be 4 years old by September 15, 2026
Must be an Iowa resident

Our Mission

The Fort Madison Family YMCA's Y Kids & Company Preschool is proud to continue our partnership with the Fort Madison Community School District to offer free, high-quality preschool for 4-year-olds. We are committed to nurturing the whole child by supporting social, emotional, cognitive, fine motor, and language development. Our goal is to prepare every child for a confident, successful transition into kindergarten in a safe, supportive, and engaging environment.

Program Highlights

Learning Through Play: Hands-on activities, swimming lessons, gym time, and educational field trips make learning fun and meaningful.
Experienced, Caring Staff: Dedicated educators focused on each child's growth and well-being.
School-Year Schedule: Monday through Thursday, following the Fort Madison Community School District calendar.
