Lifeguard
Aquatics
We're looking for dependable, energetic lifeguards to join the Fort Madison Family YMCA team. Immediate openings available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 5:00 AM to Noon.
Qualifications
- Current (or enrolled in) Red Cross or YMCA Lifeguard Certification
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certified
- Monitor pool activities and enforce safety rules
- Help create a safe, welcoming environment for all swimmers
Childcare Worker
Childcare
Love working with kids? Join the Fort Madison Family YMCA team and help create a safe, fun, and welcoming environment for children while parents work out or take advantage of our after school childcare program.
Qualifications
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities
- Create a safe, positive, and caring environment
- Interact with families and provide excellent customer service
- Help children have fun while building friendships and confidence
